The embattled senior pastor of COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo has stepped aside for the church elders to take charge while he clears his name as protest following the in Lagos Church and Abuja Headquarters over rape allegations.
The pastor has been widely criticised, with some Nigerians on Twitter asking him to step down.
Members of the church had hailed the pastor when he took to the pulpit on Sunday, with some screaming “pastor we love you.”
However, the pastor has denied the allegations, saying he did not rape anyone even as an unbeliever.
