UPDATED: Three Prospective NYSC Members Killed As Boko Haram Bombs Kano Polytechnic Using Female Bomber (MORE PHOTOS)

Nigerians living in most parts of the North are like people living in a war-torn country; death and destruction are becoming like a daily routine. And the federal government say they are winning the war against terror?

Information about the latest suicide bomber attack at the Kano State polytechnic campus yesterday is very scary, to say the least. Agents of the dreaded Boko Haram sect bombed the Central Administration Building of Kano Polytechnic along Bayero University site road, killing several innocent students in the vicinity.

Sources says a female suicide bomber on the campus carried out the deadly attack.

The "heartless" bomber blew herself up in the midst of students who were checking their examination results and NYSC call- Up at the Central Building. The school community was immediately thrown into panic following the sad incident.

Security and emergency personnel have been mobilized to the scene while many students are fleeing campus.

Directior General of the National Orientation Agency, Mike Omerri, informed the newsmen that six persons were killed by the blast. About seven people have been wounded.
